This little cutie was made to hold a gift card. ;)
This was a mock-up I had made for a client for a baby shower invo. They were a hit!
The embellishment that the rose is mounted on was made by tracing a vintage escutcheon plate onto a piece of card stock and then cutting it out. I then used a color duster (JudiKins) and Walnut Stain Distressed ink by Tim Holz to age the piece before I mounted it with pop-dots.
Here's one of the first card cards I made using a "Joann's" Mat-Stacks. I just love the look of crinkled silk biased tape -don't you?! :D
Twill tape would be my second favorite. Just love all the beautiful colors you can get it in these days. Yum-eee! :9
The simplicity of this card gives it a sweet feeling to me.
I had fun coming up with a french influenced style card front to suit one of my 100's (if not thousands!) of french label ephemera pieces.
Love this cute little 4"x 4" gem . . . simple, small, but says it all!
